Dr. Ramirez is a highly trained and experienced foot and ankle surgeon who is excited to have the privilege and opportunity to treat patients in Northern New Mexico and surrounding communities. He is dedicated to providing the highest level of podiatric care to his patients. He attended Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and continued his training by completing a three-year foot and ankle reconstructive surgical residency with Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah. Dr. Ramirez had the opportunity to train in hospitals across the country where he had significant exposure to a vast variety of foot and ankle issues, from ingrown nails and warts to complicated foot deformities that required reconstructive surgery. He also spent 6 months on a medical volunteer mission in Peru and Guatemala aiding in under served communities. Dr. Ramirez is passionate about helping his patients get back on their feet, so that they may live a healthy lifestyle and optimal physical well being. Outside of podiatry, Dr. Ramirez enjoys mountain biking, hiking, camping, snowboarding, and traveling. As a transplant from Cary, North Carolina, Dr. Ramirez is excited to build an adventurous life in Northern New Mexico with his wife Sarah, and their dogs Chico and Cashew.
