Dr. Anselmo is a foot and ankle surgeon with a passion for sports medicine and helping active patients return to what they love. He earned his doctorate at Temple University and completed a residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery through the Tower Health System, including four months alongside the foot and ankle consultant for the Philadelphia Eagles.
He is the primary author on several peer-reviewed papers in the leading foot and ankle surgery journals and serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association. A fluent Portuguese speaker, Dr. Anselmo lives in Utah County with his wife and three daughters.
Our Lehi podiatrist treats the full range of foot and ankle conditions – from everyday concerns to complex reconstructive surgery. If it's below the knee, we treat it.
If your first steps in the morning feel like stepping on glass, you're likely dealing with plantar fasciitis, a heel spur, or Achilles tendinitis. We offer stretching protocols, custom orthotics, shockwave therapy, injections, and minimally invasive surgical options.
Bunions don't fix themselves. We offer both conservative care and modern bunion surgery.
Most ingrown toenails can be resolved in a single office visit. If yours keeps coming back, we offer a permanent correction so you don't have to deal with it again.
Ankle sprains, Achilles injuries, stress fractures, turf toe, and overuse injuries in runners, cyclists, and weekend athletes. Our goal is to get you back to your sport stronger than before.
Custom orthotics, built from a true mold of your foot and tuned to your gait, help patients with flat feet, high arches, plantar fasciitis, and foot mechanics that drive pain up into the knees, hips, or low back.
Annual diabetic foot exams, neuropathy screening, diabetic shoe prescriptions, wound care, and limb-preservation surgery. Medicare Part B covers an annual diabetic foot exam at no out-of-pocket cost for most patients.
Treatment for toenail fungus (topicals, oral medications, and laser therapy), plantar warts, painful corns, and thickened calluses.
Flat feet, in-toeing and out-toeing, heel pain (Sever's disease), ingrown toenails, warts, and youth sports injuries. As a dad of three, Dr. Anselmo is great with kids.
When conservative care isn't enough, Dr. Anselmo's reconstructive training means complex procedures – bunion correction, flatfoot reconstruction, Achilles repair, ankle arthroscopy, and fracture fixation – can be performed close to home.
Our Lehi office is an easy drive from anywhere along the I-15 corridor in northern Utah County, including Lehi (Traverse Mountain, Thanksgiving Point, and Holbrook Farms), Saratoga Springs, Eagle Mountain, American Fork, Pleasant Grove, Highland, Alpine, Cedar Hills, Draper, and the Silicon Slopes corridor.

Most new patients are seen within the same week, and often the same day for urgent issues like ingrown toenails or acute foot pain.
Yes. Dr. Anselmo completed a full residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. That said, surgery is almost never the first option – we exhaust conservative treatment first.
We accept most major plans in Utah, including SelectHealth, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare, Medicaid, and many others. Self-pay and HSA/FSA are also welcome. Call our office to see if we are in network with your insurance.
